GSMTo Expunge the Ultimatum [Skarnfel v. Faoivein?]

An ample warning was given.
Though the words of one Tuuk Carn were quite small on their own, it appears that it was amplified by the actions of another, greater force.
Humanoid shades of sickening monochrome started to manifest at and near Faoivein, scouting out the location and keeping eyes out for any activity within it.
A sign of the Owldrake's handiwork, the Strategus had declared their intent through the words of another; it had no reason to speak on its own, nor were they worthy of a grandiose statement spoken through mind and ear alike.

Nor would the land that was to be ravaged need its final words be a death cry or a sobbing whimper.
Perhaps it is simply better to let some things go.

Should there be no activity within Faoivein from the influx of fel activity surrounding it, it would be quickly and bloodlessly purged.
A total rout of the last true home of goblinkind.
The final words of Faoivein would never need to be said.

But it was waiting for the possibility that there would be those foolish enough to defend a settlement on its deathbed.
For upon these fateful, silent moments, Na'Ria was a hunter.
Its game was the livelihoods that depended upon a memory lane, devouring away previous decisions and leaving the world with a bit less color than before.

The clock is ticking.
Goals:
Destroy Faoivein.
Date: TBD (Awaiting anyone posting for follow-up.)

The warning has met its last moments, and the bells toll.
Time was up.
Faoivein had breathed its last, a dying settlement that had grown dormant and stagnant.
Upon its deathbed did it see the reaper, bathed in a monochrome glow and sporting wings of shimmering metals and scaled feathers.
The children of the reaper, the shades that had watched its death drawn out over years, were given a single command.

The Owldrake had come to give a final relief to Faoivein, an act of mercy-killing.
It may not see another suffering moment.
No words were spoken, either from the maw of the Helbeast, or from the dying settlement's last defenders.

Only a silent night would befall the ears of any onlookers, if any remained.

A silent command was issued, pulsing within the minds of the spectral humanoids and driving them to an aggressive state.
With little more than a demand, the inside of the mountain was infested with the creatures.
They ripped apart anything they saw, acting as hunters in this terrible night, and treating their prey as little more than vermin.
The memories of this land would go with them.

The two mouths of the Owldrake opened, a void of energy filling its maws and being held within sharp teeth.
With a quiet pulse of undeniably powerful magic, Helflame blazed over the surface, grey anti-light suffocating and eradicating any traces of Faoivein upon the surface.
Pure ether, distilled to an emotionless destruction, had turned Faoivein into a Helscape.
A mountainside turned to glass at its behest.

There was no final scream of Faoivein's last moments.
Not even a statement before an unfortunate end.
Not even a whimper bathed within a sob.
But the memories of Faoivein would remain just as that.

Imperfect recollections of what has already happened, mutable and shapable by the minds of those touched by it.

Another name lost to history.
Na'Ria would not be one of them, but Faoivein would.
