There were calls for assistance from a small island close to Meranthe, but no guilds by the coast came to their rescue. It appeared that their small amount of money couldn't buy them assistance. It was a cruel world.

It seemed like there was no way out, but then someone from TAG heard about the island's plight and decided to help them himself.

The islanders were a deeply spiritual people who put their faith in the heavens, yet they were all doomed since they lacked magical abilities. They were unable to perform their religious practices in peace since a band of pirates with magical abilities had taken over their island. Ophir, in need of both excitement and practical experience, rounded up a band of young magi, fully intent on bringing them on an expedition to liberate the island from the treacherous pirates.
