The Owl Strikes Again-
After a brief period of rest following the battle it had on the outskirts of Audhild, The Owl, accompanied by some of its allies, went out on another hunt.
Encountering two Aphrosians and a Faeborne, a fierce battle ensued between The Owl, its companions, and the opposing group.
The Owl would target an individual named Naxias
After a hard-fought battle, The Owl emerged victorious, taking the drake captive and dragging them back toward Skarnfel.
Sending someone to convey a message to the Oracle in hopes of spreading the word, The Owl had a message intended for all of Aphros.
Quote:"You are not safe within your city.
You are not safe outside of it.
No matter where you go.
We will continue to strike.
Your time is running thin.
There will be no way for you to stop us.
No plan will work against us.
We keep a close watch, spanning from the tops of your tallest buildings to the branches of your lowest trees. Whether it's your church, your square, or your palace, it doesn't matter, for we are many; as long as you support Aphros, you will not be safe. We will come for you.
You cannot hide from us, and running won't help because we will always find you.
We are always watching."
- Zel'Ria
The Owl also had some words to state in regards to the status of Naxias.
Quote:"We have one of yours.
Killing him would be easy.
But it is not his time yet.
He fought well, holding a great amount of potential within him.
We will give him another chance to reach his peak through the act of allowing negotiations.
Should you attempt anything, then we will no longer spare his life and he will die."

The Owl has not gone unnoticed, the word of its feats reaching across Meranthe, to Dawnstone.
Two Drakanites in just the span of a couple of weeks...
The Commander has had enough.
Quote:To the one they call Zel'ria...
It has come to my attention that you have a peculiar fascination with targeting my people. I must remind you that we Drakanites share a profound bond, whether they dwell under the banner of Dawnstone or not. To harm a descendant of the dragons is to provoke all of us.
Yet, in your arrogance, you seem to believe yourself invincible, a force to be reckoned with. It amuses me that someone who claims such power consistently relies on allies to orchestrate their schemes. You hunt in packs, a predator who requires hand-holding through every endeavor.
You, Zel'ria, are nothing more than a fraud. It's evident that without the Lord of Time or the Demon King at your side, you would cower and slink away like a coward. You posture and proclaim yourself mighty, but I suspect beneath that facade lies a dog that has yet to be disciplined.
So, I issue you a challenge.
Step forward and face me.
Let us determine if the grandiose Zel'ria is truly as fearsome as it boasts or merely a buffoon seeking attention.

The whispers of an unnerving truth begin to cascade throughout Meranthe in a momentary flicker of monochrome reality.
Many would feel the disruption of a thought, almost as if afflicted by deja vu, and continue on with their lives.
While all eyes were upon the west and east of Meranthe, it seemed one world was bound to intersect with another.
The message was imparted to only the Commander themselves.
And they would be met with the speech of the Demon King itself.
A drag, a whisper, a push of the knife.
Even so, that broken, female voice still sounded all the same as an Angel.
One clearly not in disguise, sporting ebon wings and too many eyes.
Na'Ria would speak on behalf of its prodigal child.
Quote:"No.
Mine child is blessed with the blood of Change, and is a spawn of mine own.
Whatever notions you have of honor and discipline have been cast out by this challenge.
Thy false wings will never carry you aloft, so what purpose would it be to challenge us?
The terms were made clear.
This is the quarry of Aphros, not yours.
Scurry back to your Gutter and hide in your idle landmass forsaken by even the dunes.
You speak of one as a coward, yet an enemy of man stood against the Aphrosian dogs and stood in absolute triumph.
Zel'Ria acts on their own accord, divorced of mine.
They are of true strength, unlike most of you mortal mongrels.
If you seek a truly grandiose enemy?
I will play the part.
Stand in the way of these dealings, if you believe your own ego to be that high.
In doing so?
I would take your story, and your life, as you become one with me, with Storyteller.
You understand, son of man.
Lest mine own cambion fully imprison you within your mind once more.
I will await your response, or your silence, with equally bated breath.
Not that I can breathe, anyway.
You know where to find me."

Later that day, the Commander was seen leaving Dawnstone with Noxdante on his back, leaving nothing but a trail of fire and destruction in his wake.
Quote:
"Very well. If you won't come to me... I will come to you."
