Over the past two years changes have been occurring throughout Dawnstone. A new monarch indicated new laws, new posisitions and, certainly, new alliances. But also, a new way of thinking and which would be adopted was more than clear.

Expansionist. And that of conquest.

The Scaleguard, along with the Kingsguard would move across the lands and towards the place that had once been the home of the Dorians in Meranthe. The entourage would form ranks around the camp and certainly, that could only indicate one thing..

War.

However, what happened was very different from this.

Since unlike combat, negotiations took place. And so from these now Campus Invictus became part of the territory of Dawnstone and.. Dal'thala. The banners of the two kingdoms being extended and much being done now to increase the defenses at the place and make such a central location a military and commercial stronghold between the two kingdoms.

After all the commotion, the warriors of Dawnstone were divided and certainly, given what had occurred, many could only hear one thing.

Quote:"Hail to the King!"

Camp Invictus is now part of a new Kingdom.
Yet, the conquering is far from over.

A year.

It was all the time that The Order required, to do right by their promise to the Dorian warriors and their Warmaster.
The price of diplomacy.

For despite the presence of Dawnstone´s Scaleguard circling what remained of Camp Invictus, a convoy of carriages and carts, along with a small flotilla of sailboats would reach the camp, by land and river, unbothered.
Their purpose became clear, as the armored riders packed up tents and loaded  them onto the carts, and as homes were emptied and their belongings were loaded onto the ships.

It was a somber affair, for this was not a victory, but instead a compromise.

It took a month of work, before the convoy left for the last time, flanked by some of the last residents of the camp, but even in low numbers it mattered little.
For even if the remaining children of Doria do not number in the hundreds, they were still worth thousands.
