Quote:
"Wind whispers tales of blades and bone, where shadows climb the wolf-kissed throne.
My feet on frost, my soul aflame, to Vanahaeim's gate, I proclaim my name.
No coward's march, no whimpered plea, my shield a storm, my axe a sea.
Through mist and fire, the halls unfold, where heroes dine, their deeds retold."

In the wake of a war and his most bitter defeat Rok finds himself confronted once more with his own inferiority.

Yet, he is not consumed by despair for it. No, he is spurned on, more driven than ever, his fire fueled with renewed purpose.

"Though we may suffer, and we may grieve, and we may weep, we must not regret.

For inferiority is the true quality of true hero. We know how small we are. Now, more than ever.

Yet, we shall continue to aspire to ever greater heights- heights beyond our imagination!

Our bodies beaten, our thoughts reeling, yet our spirit- Unbroken."

With this and other such mantras in mind Rok gathers his closest allies and sets off on a quest that defies reason,
Not to some far off land, not to some ancient temple, no- A quest to the spirit realm itself.
A quest to the very gates of Vanaheim, the realm of legends and heroes and gods.
To reach the unreachable. To see the unseeable. To do what many would tell them is impossible-
For what purpose?

Simple because that is who they are. Who they must be.

Perhaps somewhere along the way, they will find something they seek, or something they lack.

In what some may call a purposeless march, definition is found; an answer is reached. It comes in the whisper of the eld, the vanguard spirits of Joruheim- not Vanaheim- canting away with a silent song.

It is a warning; for those who encroach upon the Realm of the Exalted, it is a premonition for things to come.
x
The spent blades of many can sometimes be seen in the journey's wake, but only for a moment.

for never once were legends born;
every man who dares stand tall
will ever leave the meek to mourn."

This will be taken by the three letter person.
