Many years ago in a land once known as the seaside Barony of Riven where the people worshipped Caius, something terrible happened.

A horrible civil war between the Local lord and a cult promising prosperity and wielding Necromancy. Claiming such as Caius' will.

A successful coup that lead to so many problems. Plagues spread through the land, death reigned and yet was undone into undeath.

In all of this a girl was born to a dying mother, plagued and doomed to perish young. Living a horrid existence for when everyone is dying few have the will to live.

Over time the people revolted and failed until their will was broken and the undead outnumbered the living. Now no one fights for anything but survival.

The young girl through a twist of fate and a hint of the divine yet lives. Wanting to return home and face the now Lich that rules over her cursed Homeland.

But their plans are not simply to kill that which is supposedly immortal. No she wants to undo the undeath that has taken the Barony hostage.

Now armed with Artifice and Allies she hopes will aid her, the young Magi arrives to change a horrid fate.
