The Goldlight Order turned its gaze east, towards the Shadowlands, as much as it turned it west, to the Ruin Zone of Sheol, but even then that did not stop its Commander from thinking beyond the peninsula, to somewhere further out west, with the help of a special guest.

The Aenite turned his attention beyond the Silent Expanse, to the ruins of the once-great Empire that laid just on its borders, with Greater Aen just beyond it, Barsburg.
The Machine Doctrine Giant  may be long gone by now, but its ruined cities and complexes may yet still hold its ancient war-machines and Magitech advancements, perhaps even a venerable Mecha Titan, ruined or not, or just one of their specialized firearms for magi, and that possibility was enough to dispatch an expedition by sea, perhaps the sole one, or the start of many ventures into the ruined lands of old Barsburg.

After all, what was more Aenish than looting from your people´s historical enemy, for museum pieces?
