Of Gala's Faithful

As part of his path to being devout to Gala and her work, Oliphr would be going to the largest mountain on the earth.
His goal? To be as close to Gala's stars to look for his patron star amongst them, with hope, something to further his conviction of the faith and to get him closer to being a Radiant of Gala.

Arranging for transport to the mountain by boat, rails, carts and whatever else may need be to come to the mountain, the trip would be planned as a wary expedition to seek confirmation in his absolute faith to Gala. The mountain would be dangerous, as it may or may not be inhabited by monsters seeking peace from the troubles of those below the mountain-top, a treacherous climb littered with unknown variables and who knows what at the very top. 
Whatever may lie at the top could orchestrate the difficulty to climb the mountain, it could be a fierce sky serpent who calls the summit its home, it could be a gift shop that very few frequent for the keychains and knick-knacks at KILLER prices...

Oliphr's path to becoming a Radiant is not thought to be easy, as his vows of using the darkness to protect the light would differ from what typical vows may be given for a Galan faithful. Occult brimming in his circuits, as he defended others from Occult before and controlled it to defend others from harm in the future, his intentions may not be clear to any other faithful that the group may come across.

Especially if a foe was a Galan Nephilim.


Barring if that rare event were to occur, the path may yield Occultists believing Oliphr an ally before realizing his actual intent or Holy magi believing Oliphr to be an enemy before noticing the Galan faithful beside him. There was also the slight, looming fear that Oliphr, who was once a faithful of Jiuweihu, may come across members of the Jiuweihu faith and be thought of as a heretic, the fire-magi kitsune that he is. Whatever the case may be, the mountain and what possibly lived there were not the only things that could be problematic to him and his party.

Despite this, Oliphr would take a handful of Gala's faithful for the expedition, so that they may, too, find their patron stars, or learn from the experience. Oliphr and co. would trek the mountain to reach the summit and search for their patron stars in the night sky.
