Summer Lantern Festival - 2125 [Xuefeng]

As the final moments of summer arrive, the eastern provinces of Meranthe aim to capture its prosperity and good fortune. To celebrate the blessings of the season, capture its beauty and send it off in hopes it'll stay with them for the seasons to come.
 
Xuefeng invites you to celebrate alongside them in the Summer Lantern Festival! Hosted by Lady Regent Miyumi S. Irontail, all of Meranthe is welcome to the settlement as an introduction to their culture and festivities. There will be a number of events, those that come will be welcome to join, as well as trinkets and shops that will be around only for this festival.
 
Don't miss your chance at your very own paper lantern, they're said to bring great luck and ward off evil spirits!
 

 
Go home with a lucky goldfish, if you're skilled enough to catch one! It will bring you great fortune for as long as you can keep it around.
 
Or, catch a legendary performance from Meranthe's greatest idol - Melionette Meandersong!
She is set to perform a brand new song for the festival.
 
Write your own Haiku and perform it for the crowd in front of a panel of judges!
 
Compete in an art competition against fellow festival attendees!
 
All leading up to the grand finale where participants will send their wishes within paper lanterns over the ocean surrounding Xuefeng together! Warding off evil and bringing them great fortune.

Rewards will be given for all the competitions! Events will happen throughout the evening and items will be on sale throughout!
 
Anyone interested in joining the Haiku competition should write it prior to the festival and prepare to present it to the crowd and a panel of judges. The theme is Summer!
 
The art competition can be joined by any interested, though there will be a max number of participants. ( 20 ) There is no preparation needed!
 
Compete for your chance to win an exclusive lantern pattern given only to winners of the events, ores and cash prizes!
