Just over a decade ago, days of tragedy and hardship led to two souls cementing their unbreakable bond and becoming more than a prince and his sworn knight.

Today, one year after a great victory, you and your siblings step into the world as royal children of the Kingdom of Fortune.

Fire/Explosion/Fortuna

A proud islander, having only left for a brief stay in Arcadia to be with his beloved. He is more fond of mainlander culture than most islanders, and is seemingly integrated in many cases.

He's understanding and affectionate, easily ceding to your opinions with just reasoning, but is very protective and supportive as well. Love and mercantile wealth are his forte, and such will be given and taught to you.

While he was a prince, and now is a king, he is by no means is he posh. Preferring to rule with a scale tipped towards legitimacy rather than authority, customs and titles need not be said.

As a pantheon worshiper, the gods and constants are respected, with constants holding a higher standing directly to him in his mind, but Memoria, Pylae, and Alacritas specifically are valued.

A fortune teller, who learned from Elizabeth Montelione, he will gladly teach you how to read fortunes as well. A keenness is also given on reading yours... whether by choice or force. This is likely where his favor to Memoria originates from as well.

Metal/Illusion/Summoning/Fortuna/Wayfinding

Arcadian born and proud of it, having claimed to have left the city following its annexation war more so due to her growing place in Fortune than for political dissent.

While protective and overbearing at times, she's been just as encouraging about you learning to fight to defend yourself. Her proudest moments are ones where you show prowess.

Spent most of her early life as a knight with blade in hand and still harbors a love and respect for their culture of vows and honor. Though her technique has since progressed past wielding the blade with her own hand, the knowledge is not forgotten, and can be imparted onto you if you seek the sword.

Though paying due respect and veneration to all gods and constants, with an emphasis toward Pylae, Enarr, and Alacritas, she may have intentionally or otherwise pushed onto you a sort of resentment to those who use their bloodlines, blessings, or titles as platforms to push their agendas; particularly when claiming to be acting as the hands or mouthpieces of Gods.

A scholar, having initially sought to fill the shelves on Nilhirra's library herself in youth and now financially sponsoring the new scribes of the island. She believes and subsequently taught you that the pursuit of knowledge, even if only for the sake of collecting and archiving it, is one of the most noble, necessary, and woefully ignored goals there is.

The persona of a serious and stoic official befitting her station frequently breaks to give way to her true nature, far more lighthearted, carefree, and joyful.

Because it takes a village to raise you little shits, here's a few people you'd have gotten to know growing up already.

Stede and Saiya Emeraldi - Your (great)grandparents on your father's side, former rulers of the kingdom prior to your parents. Mentors, babysitters at times your parents were needed elsewhere in Mernathe, and family by blood.

Camilia Ediernon and Alain Ueda - Great friends to your parents and island-neighbors over on Sapphire for most of your adolescence; the other couple heavily involved in Fortune's state affairs during your growing up have been a frequent sight in your life. Likely as have their children!

Junnodem Aundeoth - Your other grandmother-figure, honorary adopted mother of your mother. The Archnurse of Arcadia played the role of family doctor, helping during your infancy and treating any other pains you may have endured in your growing as a young magi.

Grey - Family friend and medic to your ailments alongside Juno.

Tatsuya Amamiya - Family friend, the honorary and obligatory ‘call him your uncle even though you aren’t remotely blood related aaah figure’ of your life.

You were raised on the island of Nilhirra, with all the comforts and expectations afforded to royalty. Tudors and mentors of academics and your chosen magics filled your days, though there was never as much emphasis placed on etiquette as other noble children might expect.

Though hoping you to grow into educated and strong young prince or princesses intertwined with the state, your happiness has always been prioritized. You are forced into nothing.

You were taught to sail and crew a ship from an early age, promoting a more maritime nature and culture as royals of an island nation.

Your parents would frequently offer their insight into your growth with tarot readings, which honestly sounds pretty fucking insufferable if it didn’t spark your own interest in divining fate.

Might find a place as the future Sovereign or other official of the Kingdom of Fortune if proven capable enough.

Two (2!) little brothers already chosen will spawn some time after you! Try your best to protect the little gremlins (from the opps, but more likely themselves!)

Black or Pink Hair (We can be flexible about this, we don’t care that much. The aforementioned youngest two are already straying a bit from it.)

Naturally can pick any name or gender, though if a girl the name ‘Meri’ is strongly encouraged.

Can be a Human or a Drakanite.

If a Drakanite, your bloodline is thin and your blessing somewhat dormant. For example, your mother generally reserves half-shifting for combat only, finding it too demanding to fully consciously maintain otherwise. You may have a somewhat easier time of it, though likely not as much as other, more stable Drakanite lineages.

When can you spawn?
Good question! The earliest can spawn as soon as 2130 (i.e. 7 days from this post), and while we had planned to spread the spawns out across years, I can understand not wanting to wait. We will discuss it if chosen for the second child and find something that works out for everyone!
