Quote:"The Witnesses to the End preach that Caius fled his post not to chase Mortyl's beauty, but out of a disdain for the divine ordainment he had been foisted upon by dint of his birth."

"It is their, and thus my, belief-- that he walks among mankind, seeking his own bliss, living his own life, answering to none but himself and his own whims."

"It is their, and thus my, belief... that he is deserved this. To be borne a shard of Amier was never his request nor his desire. We, who follow in his wake, exist to keep the torch lit for the day, if ever it comes, that he decides to return."

"To count the names he was not here to see. To keep record of those who have been shepherded to the End. To follow His trail, walk always in His wake, never to catch up-- always to continue to follow."

"...It has been far too long since my last pilgrimage."

Once led astray, now returned, the lost lamb of Caius seeks to return to her roots-- The rites three of her cultural and native faith call to her, and she answers. Aaliyah Khalas is setting out on an expedition into the Silent Expanse, following the events of the Meeting of the Gods. Seeking to take up the trail left by Caius in his wake, to walk the deserts she once tread in her youth, and to follow her patron divine as he readjusts himself unto his exodus.

She does not intend to catch up. What Witness ever does?

The destination, unknown. The journey is what matters. The path, ever wandering, to indulge her faiths' demands and seek to embrace once more what once she cast away.

Attendees: Aaliyah Khalas & four other pilgrims
Themes: Caius, Nomadic Wanderings, Remembering the Fallen & Silent Expanse Exploration
