Decimated, ransacked by demons for what felt like an eternity, and on the brink. The royalty of Aen sent a contingent of soldiers to search for a legendary artifact. One that was said to be forged from dragonfire and coated in their hides. Through battle with them or cooperation, it is likely unknown. But the Demon King was said to be a dragon, wasn't he? Surely this weapon had to have some effect.

Perhaps the Demon King knew of the retrieval of the artifact, and planted rumours of it's destination among his army so that some ambitious sort might go seek it themselves. Or perhaps he really just didn't care about the blade. But, a certain Demonic Dragon certainly cared. She wished it for herself.
