Hey friends,

Fae are lackluster in my opinion...

Like really lackluster.

Let us do a few things to maybe rectify it? Just a few ideas of mine are:

• Give them back the Blessing spell for 0 RPP. It is called FaeBlessing for a reason; because I paid for it to be added to Faes!
  
• Every 5 RPL gives them another +1 Force, for a total of +40 at 200. Passive
  
• Attach: Join a player in a Roleplay Battle; you may not fight alongside them, however you grant them +10% health and power for the duration. Can be used at the start of a RPB if you are close to them. You share their fate in the battle.
  

I mostly just want to open up the discussion more so than anything else, so thoughts? How do we fix them?

You know what, the attach ability alone is enough of a fun gimmick that I'd consider playing a fairy. I'd honestly love to see that, with or without some (much needed) buffs to them.

I would enjoy any feature to be added to fairies, but the main thing is that they need Blessing back. The last thing that Fae got since having their racials gutted was a numerical power increase, which people point towards whenever I bring up fairies, but it's actually just a lame band-aid for a mistake that should have never been made. Call me crazy but the kind of person who plays a fairy probably would care more about having cool spells thematic for their race than just having more numbers.

So yeah, they should definitely get Blessing back, but that doesn't mean we should stop there. Faelings are honestly cool as shit, they set a standard and fae need to be brought up to the standard of modern races. I'm not really an ideas guy though, just a complaining guy.

The suggestions from Madsen are really nice and can add a lot to fairies. I typically see them as supportive characters, so those abilities would absolutely make a lot of sense to have. I also agree that Blessing and Empathy should 100% be given back to them as abilities like they had from E2.

It's about time fairies get the love they've been needing.

The shake ability is also cute, even if a joke suggestion, but probably make that a once a year IC thing with a temp injury to the fairy, as people might easily abuse it. Sorry, bud.. you lose some of yourself in the process.. you're owned : sob :

I like the idea, but attach is somewhat. Hmm, concerning if only on a balance note in my opinion at least, it would almost be equivalent to giving something supermagi ontop of everything else that they have which is a bit. :Woozy_face:
