Ominous Fauna?!

2182 AC

Trees begin to twist toward a central point, as if drawn by a gravitational pull. The skies overhead begin to darken in a most unnatural manner. Even spores begin to oddly drift towards the area in question, in a rather thick and invasive manner! Seeking to exhaust breath from the living that linger!

Spore-Thralled Gremlins are seen loitering the plains. Were they protecting it..?

The usual fauna is warped. Corrupted even, to a carnivorous degree snapping and biting at nearby travelers! An entanglement of purple vines begin to eat and neatly surround the ground like coiled anacondas!

Something downright awful was now on the rise.

Date: Tuesday, August 5th
Time: 5PM EST
Location: The plains near Arcadia.

A Public Ritual is taking place! Any and all can attend!

.  .  .

Changed fauna traipses at the edge of the fields, and spreads no further. Where the eternal Spring of the pastoral city takes root, no such corruption lingers in the moments leading up to whatever rises near Arcadia's premises. Yet this Spring, too, does not remain idle, as new blooms rise in the wake of a certain coronation. Quiet songs inspire growth anew, as a contingent of Arcadian forces prepares for a march in response to whatever may be coming.

Not overlooked are such trespasses, so close to the city's borders.

Once upon a time, evolution was taken in with warm hands. Now, it is akin to a thorn stuck on the sides of those unable to grasp advancement. Only when evolution benefits those in continental power, is it allowed.

. . . as such.

The Priestess of Mydaea is seen following in the distant shadows, glimpses of their auburn tail and hair a call to all those who saw stagnation as a curse, to join upon the arms to see the creature once known 'Pet'Yal' conquer their worst stagnation since the day they had felt defeat at the hands of a certain now King. It would be a day of festive fun, should none attempt to cause a hiatus.

Intent
Aid in freeing the creature of stagnation.
