Negotations - Between Aetius and Caethir [3PM EST Tomorrow]]
#1
In the aftermath of the shattering of Caethir's fortress, and the capture of their king, a lone messenger rides to a kingdom in shambles, bearing the sigil of Aetius. A missive is delivered to the higher ups of the nation in the aftermath of despair, a formal proposal for negotiations in mutual desire between the king and his captors.

It reads thusly,

"Your King, Lucion C. Fair, summons you as advisor to discuss a potential treaty between Caethir and Aetius. He has expressly requested your presence as he wishes for mutual representation during these negotiations."
"You will greet him at the gates of Aetius, and deliberations will commence once you have met and confirmed intentions."
"The safety of all representatives are guaranteed. This is to discuss a future of mutual interest and to avoid an undesired gruesome outcome."
- Archmage Ilumitar
- King Lucion C. Fair

The authentic signature of Lucion C. Fair is included in the missive.

The two nations meet.

Caethiri advisors who find themselves into the bowels of Aetian diplomacy, led by the Queen-Consort. Infantry and gilded warriors turned away at the doors.

By the end both parties emerge, document in hand, posted within Aetius itself. It reads,
Quote:The Treatise of Aetius and Caethir,

In accordance with this contract, the ruler of Aetius, Kyran.
The rulers of Caethir, Lucion C. Fair and Calanthe F. Caewynn agree to the following terms.

Caethir and Aetius enter a non-aggression pact for a period of ten years, ending on the year of 2195, at which point in time the current ruling body may choose to convene to discuss the relationship between the two kingdoms if they choose. Warfare between the two kingdoms concludes with the safe return of King Lucion C. Fair and Mazin.

Trade and other mutually benefitted arrangements may be discussed and explored by the respective authorities, as all neutral kingdoms might engage in.

This pact is only broken if organized military action is carried out. Both parties understand that tensions are high between the two kingdoms and words alone do not rectify this, but neither will aid an enemy nation with magi in a siege or raid attempt.
