Not many nights come to pass following the Republic's attempt within Aetius. Hardly are the armies able to make it home before the warning bells ring. Portals, they open in all directions. Everywhere one looks there are dozens more. Their verdant colors humming terror on the winds of those who look upon them despite their nature. Recovering armies are given no rest, Aetius' soldiers pour out and begin to set up their siege camps. And by the end of that night, their few elite float through the last of the doorways.

Reality is plucked upon, the rules of the world begin to change as they are shattered and built anew. An arcane might, magnificent as it is dangerous. The Endless approaches.
 
Jagged crystals erupt from the soil and the outskirts of Martyr's Vigil are speared upon them, buildings crumble and roads are made asunder. Sand pours from the destruction, it takes to the wind and begins to storm.

 

"You have been warned. And now, the day has come. The foundation of the Republic shall be uprooted. This is your chance to flee and live to see better days." It is whispered on the wind, yet spoken to the ears of all. "You've awaken us. Now, we will share the favor." Domain is set. "This is not the end, it is only a new beginning."
 

 
In its final showcase, destruction continues to roll in the hours that come, from its roots those who bring it look to terraform the land.
