Intersection between Stubbornness and Conviction

Over the course of a few years, Lex Ferrus, Meranthe's most racist stubborn dwarf has began to take increasing care of Rama, The Sapling of Conviction. He could be seen frequently grumbling about how the tree lovers who promised to take care of the grove barely ever went here to do that... and the one, maybe two, times in his lifetime they did, it's only for Elios. While he didn't stop the scant few custodians of the plant that remained, he took to the more magical maintenance of things: loosening the earth of ice and frost, reinforcing and enriching the soil, and... feeding it runes? They seem to be rather personal feelings rather than anything of magic really, treating the plant as more his personal therapist if anything else.

[Lex Ferrus claims custodianship of Rama, The Sapling of Conviction]
Any disputes over this claim should be spoken to Lex Ferrus personally as carrier birds continually run into stalactites.

Apparently, the Amazon dwarves aren't happy with Lex's claim and decide to challenge him to a battle to keep him from setting foot on that island.

Amoy vs. Lex?...
Battle of honor

Lex, the utter boomer that he is, has alas bundled this declaration with the rest of his State of Meranthe newspapers and thrown as starter fuel to feed the forges.
He doesn't seem to know anything about this until she knocks on his door herself.
