The Essharan Imperial Hospital
"For ours we care"
After a few years of planning and bureaucracy, and after the initiative idea of Seven, the financial and influential support of Priscilla cos Solenne and the practical medical experience of Agrien Vandroy, the official medical facilities of the Esshar Empire is now open and functioning, operating from the Imperial capital city of Osrona.
The Imperial Hospital idea was proposed and presented before the magistrate and eventually brought to Queen Petrakis, who after a series of bureaucratic and diplomatic ventures and meetings, approved the opening of the facilities and declared her support for the initiative.
Located at the center of Osrona, north-east of the central square, the Imperial Hospital serves the Empire as a whole as the centralized medical facility for those in need of treatment and care, providing it's services free of charge for any patient brought to it's doors and accomodating them with no prejudice or judgement. Every living being born under the Essharan Imperial rule will be treated equally for the medical organization.
For those interested in learning, the Imperial Hospital also serves as a medical educational institution, with lectures and lessons and offering practical experience free for charge for they who wish to enroll as an Imperial Nurse, and eventually join the ranks of the Imperial Doctors. Regardless of nationality or social class, those who wish to learn and develop their knowledge on the medical fields are welcome, for the Hospital is also ready to support medical research to further improve the quality and efficiency of our services.
Therefore, as of 1674 A.C onwards, the Essharan Imperial Hospital is open and ready to serve as the main center for medical treatment and education in within the Empire.

OOC: If you want to join the guild, approach for either Priscilla or Agrien, and the building is the one marked here.

| How much would an Academy run me? |

Quote:Preface
So IC I've been spending a lot of time at the abandoned tower east of Osrona as well as the local town just down the steps from it's grounds. I can only assume that this is the location of what was once the Academy? Basing this only on the Academies explanation on the wiki; though I'm slowly getting through the lore. Now my IC isn't old enough, or at a place that would warrant her to come into custody of the academy, but I'm sure it would be easy enough to find someone interested or wise and elegant enough to be said headmaster!
Opening this location and the small province near it would be perfect for an all encompassing academy meant to represent Osrona and House Pellaux, as well as the other houses and guilds within the city. It could even work as a great place for newcomers to learn the basics of playing(in an in lore fashion). It could be a fresh new place to rp, pvp, run events, or even create new lore and scene possibilities. I'm not sure what it would take to get it running- but I'd love to hear suggestions and of course I'd love to aid in any way. As such, here's my pitch!
The Academy of Osrona: Future of Orsona
While in Osrona, it would be considered an affiliated group of House Pellaux; with the soul goal of raising wise, respectful, and more importantly- powerful and skilled Knights meant to protect and serve their glorious home. Combining the studies of magic, combat, and tactical knowledge. Proud and legendary Knights patrol the halls of AoO during the day and during the fall of night students will be protected in their lodging by those in the Watch. The Academy of Osrona will ensure new-aspiring knights to discover their true strengths within it's hallowed halls- striving to create new legends, today!
Tuition
Crafting young minds is a long and argues process- as such, AoO requires a yearly fee of 5000 gold from it's attendees. All funds go directly to Osrona tax's, Faculty Income, and *Special Activity Funds. An additional 50 gold is required per day by each of member of the student body as renters fee for *Student Housing. After paying said fees, students will be entitled to official faculties on AoO grounds.
Scholarships
As decreed- AoO offers special Scholarship's to member's of royal families( up to 90%! ); affiliated parties limited to similar scholarship benefits( up to 75% ). As well, *official mentors can request a 'Privilege Clause'- ensuring a student tuition exception on the grounds that said mentor can create a solid reasoning for their entry into the Academy.
Special Events Directory Department
SADD is a small group of official mentors and the Academy's Headmaster. They handle all matters related to Special Events. These actives could include guest speakers demonstrations for student body, school plays, field trips , and many other possible recreational activities involving the student body. As well they ensure budget for said Special Events
Student Housing
While during the day students will be entitled to full access to Academy grounds and faculties- seeing tuition is paid; as well, they can be permitted residence within AoO owned township Entia just to the southwest of the Academy grounds and down the rock incline. Any and all destruction of Entia grounds will result in immediate punishment or worse! As mentioned in Tuition; a 50 gold coin a day is required for maintenance.
Seminars
At the heart of our Academy is it's instructors. Each masters in their art and wise in their practice. Students are required to spend at least one hour per week at the Academy attending an instructors seminar. Seminars can last 20 to 60 minutes and can include spoken lessons, outside lessons, Special Events, PvP practice, or Special Speakers. Seminars schedules will be posted on the official school board for all students and are only eligible to students with paid tuition.
Staff
- Headmaster
Spokesperson for AoO and mysterious scholar. The headmaster ensures all activity on Academy grounds fall under the regulations and rulings enforced upon them by House Pellaux. They are also tasked with a weekly meeting with the remainder of the staff to ensure scheduling and other duties are being performed. A headmaster must perform his/her duties to the upmost of her abilities.
- Mentor
Classes at AoO are varied and always expanding. Performing research and planning a lesson plan for a semester is key to their duties. A mentor can be hired on through contract for no longer than a year; though they may sign another year when said contract is expired. Anyone seeking to create a new class or fill a empty mentor role must do so through the Headmaster.
- Cafeteria
AoO's cafeteria is sanctioned and sponsored by many of the reputable business owners withing Esshar- and is not covered by tuition.
- Librarian
AoO's Librarian must be reserved and duty-inclined. Thanks to our magical book sorting system; a librarian will only be tasked with the duty of ensuring the protection of their domain. As such, the librarian should possess great skill, even opening the position to those in other Osrona-affiliated groups.
- Groundskeeper
Similar to the librarian the Groundskeeper must be strong- though their attitude can vary. Groundskeepers are given the duty of protecting the grounds of AoO as well as student housing.

Anabelle Lockwood
Atendee(s):
Probably only those seeking the specific reward. Smaller group than last time unless something changes.

Whether that takes them into greater darkness or somewhere new and dangerous, there are those who will do what it takes to achieve what is necessary.
One thing is for certain; Anabelle herself seeks something she calls the 'pureblood', and after studying a very specific tome, she thinks she knows where to find it.
Tone:
Lore-rich, mysterious, dark

What To Expect: As an obsessive Star Trek, Fantasy, and Anime geek you will most likely see philosophical questions designed to test more than pure in-game strength, mythical and otherworldly events meant to distract or foreshadow future events, and most importantly- big monologue driven villains you'll love to hate!
What Makes A Mach Bass Adventure Special: With the aided benefit of other TTRPG mechanics (such as Dungeons & Dragons) events planned, designed, and adjusted by myself- will have skill checks using virtual die, improvisational style arcs meant to change based on Player IC decision making as well as my attempt toward involving specific IC backgrounds into our ever expanding narratives.
Will You Host For My Group?: Absolutely! Just send a DM my way and we can start getting it prepped. Keeping in mind, as these campaigns may be run in more detailed fashion- I will also need to get with each player involved in order to decide the best course of action! House Nemean
Overview: House Nemean were, in their heyday, second only to the Pelleaux in their mastery of magic. However, where the Pelleaux famously stood wary of the potential dangers magic afforded, The spellcasters of House Nemean were reckless in their pursuit of ever greater magical powers.
It was, in the end, this pursuit which led to their treason and fall from grace as they began searching out magics best left forgotten. Frequently financing trips to the darkest corners of the world in search of ancient secrets. the ruined castles of Necromancers, fallen angels, and eventually to the land of Atrellya where Grigor Nemean, then head of the house, struck a bargain with a demon of the Tiger Clan. In exchange for their aid in destroying that demons enemies, the demon would provide them with secrets.
Ever since, the folk of House Nemean have been damned, their involvement in the occult uncovered by agents of house Grimmore at home, even as their head of house reveled in their newfound powers. A Purge followed not long after, leaving only those members of the house abroad to carry on it's legacy.
Suggested Traits: Bitter, aloof, prideful. The members of House Nemean pride themselves on their mastery of Dark Sorcery and even now hold a burning grudge against the Members of house Grimmore for the purges.
Demonic Alliance: The House Nemean is loosely Allied to the Demonic Tiger Clan. Both stand aloof to the other, and it is not unknown for the two to come into conflict over conflicting goals, usually ending in the death of the Nemean who stepped out of bounds.
House Lernia
Overview: The Noble House of Lernia was ever an odd one. The founder of their house was a Mercenary by the name of Cadmus Lernia, who was ennobled by the Royal family for 'rescuing' the then King. Though not one to turn down a Kings Gratitude, the violent altercation that had led to the king's freedom was in fact, Cadmus stabbing his own liegelord over a dispute in pay. Whereupon he attempted to use the king's escape as a distraction to make his own bid for freedom, however fate was not so amenable and he was forced to abscond with the king himself.
The following years of House Lernia's Ennoblement were wrought with such debauchery, hedonism, and lack of decorum that when the time came for Esshar to send a punitive Expedition to Atrellya, in response to a demonic incursion in the year 1583, House Astor, in tandem with the Crown strongarmed the entirety of the house into joining.
Naturally, they responded to this perceived death sentence with treachery. Purchasing their own continued well being by betraying the other members of the Expedition to the Demonic Fox Clan. Over Time, the surviving Members of House Lernia have adapted to the ways of their new allies, and the concept of trust is an alien one to this dissolute house, as when there is noone else to betray into their claws the fox clan oftentimes can't help but hunt their own servants.
Suggested Traits: Treacherous, Shortsighted, and Selfish. While possessed of great cunning the Descendants of Cadmus Lernia are no great schemers or spies like House Grimmore. They are ultimately nothing more than particularly talented, and lucky, charlatans and rogues. Always seeking to buy just one more day to fill with idle hedonism.
Demonic Allies: To call the House of Lernia and the Fox Clan allies, would be a great disservice to the term. The Fox Clan finds the houses antics amusing, but given the opportunity and lack of other prey, will happily hunt the Lernia as well. While The House prefers to lure innocents to the demons to keep the peace, there have been times where instead covert battles have been waged between the two when no innocents are to be found.
House Kerberos
Overview: The House Kerberos had a Knightly Tradition going back to the founding of Esshar known for both honor and brutality on the battlefield. House Kerberos was among the many lesser houses led by Lightbringer Kaldwin Astor on the punitive Expedition to Atrellya. There they were deployed to the northern landing point, coming into conflict with the Wolf Clan in the swampy forests of northern Atrellya. Over the months of fighting the Wolves and the Stubborn Kerberos gained a begrudging respect for the other, and so it was that when the Wolf Clan had the last remnants of the northern expedition force surrounded and at their mercy the men and women of House Kerberos were offered a choice. Swear Fealty, now and forever, to the Wolf Clan and the other members of the Expedition would be permitted to leave the island in peace, so long as they left before the sun descended that very day. Or they could all die together, and a monument raised to their Valiant effort on their grave.
The Kerberos chose to swear Fealty, saving the Kingdom the loss of multiple lesser houses, and the Lightbringer General of the Expedition.
Ever since, they have served their new lieges with the same zealous honor and vicious brutality as their old. Though never before have they been deployed against their old homelands.
Suggested Traits: Honorable, Physical, and Brutal. The Kerberos are knights bound by competing ethos of Honor and Pragmatism. They will never break their word once given, and have nothing but contempt for those they do. Because of this however, they are unlikely to make compacts with enemies, and most bargains with them are viciously pointed about the always short time limit of such alliances.
Demonic allies: While at one point they were reluctant in their service to demonkind, in the passing years since their oath of Fealty to the Wolf Clan, the Knights of House Kerberos have long since learned to live with their new Masters. Serving as a dark mirror to the selfless Fealty of Essharan Knighthood.

The Demons of Atrellya
Some time ago, there was an expedition by the Witches of Moonfall to retrieve a treasured relic. This object of power will take them to a particular, abandoned building deep into the woodlands, where they'll attempt to open a gateway directly to the heart of Atrellya, the land of the Seven Demon Clans...
Quote:All demons of Atrellya are said to descended from Indras, an Abyssal Lord of great power that rivalled Mordred during the mythical era. While these demons might appear deceptively human, they're capable of unveiling their 'true self' by transforming. They also do not have horns in their human form unless they've reached a point of ascension, but red eyes and elongated fangs are common.
There are three kinds of demons: Pureblooded, Felblooded, and Nephalam. Pureblooded are born of strong bloodlines and have a distinct transformation, Felblooded will appear as a kaor when they transform, and Nephalam are humans that are part-demon.
- The demonkind will reside within their tower. They'll have a spawnpoint, and a select few will be on par with the current top contenders. The DMs will be working on public events, but as always, the main focus will be character to character interactions and developments.
Demon Racials
- +5 Occult Power Passive
- Telepathy
- Kaor Transformation: A buff-type spell that adds a demonic appearance, grants stats.
- Demonic Transformation: Upgrades kaor transformation, and retains the person's original appearance. They 'gain their horns'.
- Those with a talent in witchcraft can form a summoning pact with demons. This spell is called 'Black Circle'.
Available Roles- Pureblooded: A demon with a distinct transformation.
- Felblooded: A demon that's typically an enforcer.
- Apostate: A human occultist serving the demons. May be a part of an Atrellya witch coven.
You can apply here.
