"All men must serve, all men must die"
Through the land, whispers speak of a gathering. The temple next to the Tower of Aetius seems to be more crowded than before, a heavy air of anticipation hangs over it.
The curious speak in hushed tones, and the sacred bell atop the tower rings with a chime that echoes through the area, calling the faithful to a gathering unlike any other.
To hear the sermon. To speak of Vdali and Mortyl.
By the end of the sermon, it is whispered that a Silver Beherit, a mystical object said to be a fragment of the Lifestream itself, may be brought forth from stream itself. An egg-shaped object that is claimed to defy fate. Some speak that it is able to teach the holder how to alter destiny itself, even.
Though, surely, such a gathering is bound to have a consequence...

"Hear ye, hear ye!"
A man in dark robes climbs the stairs, ringing a tiny bell across the church. He carries a parchment, eyes of old reading from it as the faithful's attention draws towards him.
"The sermon is rescheduled for the next night.
Lord Shiva's presence is of utmost importance,
And as it stands, our lord's wagon has been assaulted by bandits of the lowest kind.
Rest assured, that our Lord is well and fine, but this setback has annoyed him so.
Hear ye, hear ye!"
The words are repeated, as the faithful and the curious are dismissed.

This has once again been rescheduled for Wednesday 6PM EST.
A note/forewarning that this is a public CoD event, involving PvE & possibly PvP; though death/capture is very unlikely.

A disturbance is felt in the otherworldly flow; a shallow, faint sensation that the Radiants of Meranthe can sense. Some of them choose to inform their followers and word quietly spreads.
Many of the gods will be watching distantly, and their favor, or their ire, might be earned.
Particularly that of the God-King of Wisdom and Judgement, Enarr; the Goddess of the Night Gala; the Invoker of Inspiration Mestra; the Deity of Travel Chireus; the Goddess of Harmony Azalea, shaky as her seat may be as a nascent-primordial.
(OOC - While this is a public event, do not feel too pressured to attend: the sensation isn't one you feel compelled by, nor is it overly advertised. Plus I'd rather keep it to <50 characters. But if you want to swing by and take part in show that has implications for the Extinction event chain, by all means!)

"Hear ye... hear... ye..!"
A man in dark robes runs the stairs of the church, standing at the very middle of it. Ringing a most annoying bell. In his hands, another parchment. His voice is tired, and he seems out of breath even.
"The sermon... is... rescheduled... for the next fortnight..."
A deep breath from the old man, as he continues to read the parchment.
"Lord Shiva's wagon was... s-stolen by a local gang of hooligans...!"
Somewhere in the crowd, a gasp from a faithful follower.
"And... now Lord Shiva is attempting to ... recover his precious wagon and belongings..."
Hear...ye... hear... ye...!"
The words are repeated, though each time it carries less and less boom from the old man's voice. It was not something he was proud to announce.
[RE-SCHEDULED AGAIN!!!]

A tale told of the Emperor Grimnir and his three sons, Lauf of ice and Sauf of fire.
And the third son, his name and deeds erased from the histories, for he committed the sin of murdering his aging father.
Shiva claimed that this Nameless giant was born with no strength of his own but had the likeness of Grimnir about him, and could channel the Beyond. He could hear the mirthy laughter of Chireus in the wind, see the tapestry of Gala in the sky. Eventually the daughter of the God-King, Chryssa, took to mentoring the boy, whispering wisdoms into his ear and blessing him with an enchanted sword that served to strengthen his fragile body.
Faced with his powerlessness, he overcame many trials and would eventually lead the Grand Fleet of the Emperor. Until that final, eventful day.
A question is asked: Should the gods rule the cosmos when they were born powerful? When they have not known the same struggles, how do they judge humanity?
And three prisoners - Ashtelle of Valmasia, the Archon Calamity, and the Warlock Ahriman - were plucked from the hollow world prison; their crimes and sentences spoken to all. To ask those gathered to judge them, rather than our cosmic overseers.
Disagreements arose. Conflict began. Two of the three were returned to the Hollow World while the third was retrieved by a third party.
Beyond, the Pantheon approve of the fulfilment of order.
