The Deathwind Fleet's successful defense of their bay, alongside the slaying of King Marfons Emeraldi had the pirates immediately springing into action. Outcasts of all kinds were recruited; savages and brutes amassed within a short period of time to begin their own assault. The Kingdom of Fortune wasn't given long to rest. Their shipping lanes once more under stress by a myriad of attacks from the pirates within the Southern Sea. These continuous assaults a prelude to the amassing of vessels carrying the black flag.

That quiet threat within the Southern Sea had once more reared its head up after being empowered with their recent victory.

Their target once again the Kingdom of Fortune. Vengeance and destruction within the minds that set sail in the name of the Deathwind Fleet.

The Isle of Nilhirra... once a part of the golden lands of Aphros.

Its history belongs to that of Mankind, of those who have sworn to fight against the fel at every moment, at every turn, though its population is small. Though its isle has been beaten, stomped, and taken before. Even with the loss of their beloved King, Father, and Mentor to man Marfons Emeraldi. Some have begged those who live upon this isle to leave, to let it become the rotten lands of the Deathwind Fleet.

These notions have been rejected.

Fortune fights for the free sea.

Ships scout the waters and those who listen to the shores close enough would hear the song of war, cannons against cannons. Ships of both sides sank into the darkest depths that only the secrets of the sea would know. Deaths of not only Fortune have been felt by the Mainland... The conflict of the two has bled to many other nations, where the allies of the Kingdom of Fortune have answered their call.

Mankind stands as one against the foul rot.

For the Navigator, For the Crown, and for the Free Sea. For a Mourning Queen and her children.

As Fortune prepares to defend its shores, ships make their way to reinforce them from their Western ally of the Traverse. Troops deploy, rations are shared, and entrenchments dug, as the two nations work together to defend against the aggression.

From the Crescent Isle, a dark pair of wings can be seen taking off into the skies. A trail of helfire left in it's wake, as early skirmishes break out. The demonic entity already has begun to burn ships.

The survivors tell of the same message, spoken to them each time without fail.

It was so entertaining bathing in the blood of your little soldiers the last time. You may not recognize me in this form, but you WILL remember my brutality. All across this pathetic land will know and fear the name Zetian.

Not long after the announcement from Zetian an announcement was made on the Crescent isle. The message was carried to every corner of Meranthe by slaves that were let go to spread the word. Each one muttering the same words. Describing the same thing. A angel descending from the castle and giving his speech. Then letting them go and telling them to spread the word.

Fortune and their Allies gather in a attempt to stop the fleet. Yet even when they all gathered to take the fight to them they couldn't win. So lets take the fight to them. Let us show them why we are still feared and what awaits them when the invasion arrives.
