Event: OCEAN DIVING
Character: The Esteemed and Revered Lord Kalione Meanderteau I
Storytelling: It was a very small, intimate event with only myself and another player character, but Valterak, as usual, paints an illustrious picture of the character's journey. Even something as inconsequential as diving to the bottom of the ocean became an incredibly whimsical adventure.
Balance: There were no fights in this event, and it was more of a mini one, but I did very much appreciate the energy system implemented. Having to have some slight resource management to influence decision making during the event was very enjoyable.
Enjoyment: Overall, quick, painless, and incredible to read and participate in. 10/10 would let DM again.

Event: A Normal Day at the Library
Character: Emmeline M. Emeraldi
Storytelling: The title of the event is sort of correct, as this did start as a normal day at a library, but the gradual buildup was what made this perfect. There was no sudden drop, and even though our characters weren't in any true fight or flight situations, a level of dread and danger was still present, with a wonderfully crafted atmosphere, which reacted to all the characters involved! My character was very appreciated in the narrates, with her abilities and aptitudes frequently brought up. I appreciated that a lot!
Balance: I felt the system that Valterak used was very fair, as anything that you got yourself into was essentially your fault (or purpose?). Outside of that, there were no fights with the verb system.
Enjoyment: A wonderful event, with quality maintained totally throughout. I really appreciate Valterak's style, as everything you do in roleplay is a choice that you can personally determine the risks of beforehand. It allows much greater focus on the story involved, and provokes genuine thought for your character's actions instead of 'let's go beat up the big evil or good'. 10/10 for such.

Event: A Normal Day at the Library
Character: Iltani
Storytelling: A pretty abnormal day at the library, I really liked this event overall, it had a good buildup to the story, and didn't feel confusing at any step of the way even though it was mostly dealing with metaphysical stuff. Also I really liked how we were always allowed to face the story in any way we wanted, and each character was allowed to tackle stuff their own way. Iltani had the chance to have an impact even though she's a pretty new character, which I appreciated.
Balance: There was no fights, so the balance was in terms of the system Valterak came up with for the event, and I felt they were pretty fair and well communicated to us.
Enjoyment: Pretty good! It was my first event and it sets a good note for events in general, I really like Valterak's writing, and how fast he posts them. The topic was a nice departure from the usual stories in meranthe where the good guys went up to beat the bad guys. 10/10 overall.

Event: Rainbows in the Dark
Character: Tasha Anwar
Storytelling: It was quite the head trip. I had fun exploring the various ideas of psionics and what the 'void' even is especially when were force to exist or /not/ within it. It was a nice capstone to a very old character and even then I look forward to seeing what becomes of their legacy.
Balance: 1v1 duels followed by an EC fight. I enjoyed both quite a bit and it didn't feel unfair.
Enjoyment: I liked it! As a reward we even got some pretty open ended materials that will be fun to play with.
10/10 Godspeed Talguth the unknowable.

Event: Rainbows in the Dark
Character: Vir'Ria
Storytelling: Honestly, this was exceptional in my opinion. Horrific Hel artifact being subjugated for the sake of perfection. A narrative spun in character and out. Battling a changing of the self, battling one another, battling the master of the artifact... and then surviving Nothing itself. We had the freedom to tackle most of it as we wished, and the story was written with that in mind. The twist at the end truly made me smile like a kid, as I genuinely didn't expect it.
Balance: There were two fights: A spar with another participant, and the EC itself. Unfortunately, I'm not entirely sure how well the spars were balanced, as I feel as if my matchup was very weighted in my favor. As for the EC... I think it could have done with being a bit more threatening. Only a single person was downed in both rounds with it, and I personally feel that it should have beaten us up a little more.
Enjoyment: Overall I had a great time! Everyone was wonderfully engaged, and the team of Valterak and GSM was great! I'm hoping I get to enjoy more of their writing in the future... though given the ending of this event, it may be a while before I get to experience more of this distinctly eldritch styling. 9/10!

Event: Breaking my damn heart (Rainbows in the dark)
Character: Mei'Ria
Storytelling: Fantastic as always, the writing and concepts that were displayed were a treat, a quality that few can provide. Pacing was on point, and ever last development was as meaningful as the last.
Balance: Matchups were as fair as could be, i imagine, considering the wide array of levels and gear. The EC was fantastic, and the only reason that more people were not injured was due to the excellent tactics employed by the players via their healing and CC
Enjoyment: Fantastic time, Valterak and GSM are the GOATS as always and any time i get to RP with them is a treat. A wonderful sendoff, if bittersweet!

Event : Rainbows in the dark
Character : Lynette Anwar.
Storytelling : It had twists and turns that I did not expect in the slightest, the setting itself was incredibly cool and I really enjoyed how prepared they were to DM the event with pre-planning. Quick and concise and reliably responded to all participants actions throughout the event.
Balance : This is where I want to gives props the most, I think given the information that they had that this event was well balanced both from a PVP perspective with matchups and the EC fight in particular did not contain anything that I would specifically consider to be unfair, it was dangerous but I did not witness any one shots or excessive targeting.
Enjoyment : This was my favorite event I've attended thus far, participants from what I can tell all enjoyed themselves. They gave amazing opportunities for creative writing between players.
I have depression now IC and OOC.
Great event.

Event: Rainbows in the Dark
Character: Esoti Liam
Storytelling: I did not go into this knowing what was planned, only that Talguth needed help with something. Despite this, I was able to understand what was going on almost immediately. Good job. The storytelling was good. Eldrich horror, unfathomable terror, etc... Explained on a visceral level. Further, response times were great. You came prepared. Good job.
Balance: There were two portions with combat. The first was a fight against another player. My particular matchup was splendid. We were BOTH relatively high level, yet weak verbers. And we were evenly matched. It could have gone either way. I cannot comment on other matchups.
For the EC portion... that actually could use a little work. It had a lot of health, and we couldn't really approach, because of big AOEs. It's always hard to tell what AOEs are friendly vs foe. And it was made worse by the perma red tint on everything. Next time, I suggest about 10-20% higher damage, and the same amount lower health. In addition, set the fight somewhere that is NOT making AOEs near invisible.
Enjoyment: Fun event. Val has shown time and time again that they're wonderful with metaphysical storytelling. I wonder if they'll branch out after this.
