the aura most definitely used to actually spawn a crystal with every shardshot cast, would expect it to be at a 30% or 50% spawn rate now like normal shardshot

Anecdotally but when fighting creeps I've never seen Red Shardform spawn a crystal on shardshot. maybe it's RPB only?

That said, Red Shardform / Blue Shardform aren't much of an upgrade to Crystal Aura, but this doesn't mean they're insane.

are you all aware of what an extra spell means? it is much, much better than flat stats (unless the stats are massive). 10% ap with the spells CT/SB give is not bad by any means. wanting more because nature form has better stats is... silly.

upgraded shard form is, as it stands, the best aura in game. period. 10% ap & life steal with a passive that sends out an extra spell that has the chance to spawn a random crystal to heal/give you ap/cleanse.

As a user of an upgraded crystal aura I can confirm that the extra shard doesn't spawn a crystals and it never has.

i implore you to look at sethon/RT and ask him how come he had crystals spawning with this aura before having crystal formation. (yes, it's because the aura does spawn crystals...)

What's the chance percentage of it spawning a crystal? One has never spawned for me and I cast around 3-4 a fight.

You're saying when asta proc a red shard-shot that it spawned a ap/heal/ or cleanse crystal?

That's what I thought and I just tested 10 passive crystals and not ap/heal/ or cleanse  crystal spawns

The Shardshot for both auras does in fact spawn a crystal. Can confirm as a Sapphire User and substitute Ruby User before that. The chance is tiny.
