It seems like so long ago I left the Orphanage for brighter waters.

To become something more than a mundane child laboring in a mine for scraps of bread.

I heard of His Radiance.

Sire Renfae, with little more impetus than my audacity to even ask... accepted me into Enarr's grace.

And yet, for all my study, for all my struggles, triumphs, and how far I have come...

There is nothing left of my home but ash.

I could not even protect my own home.

And with it, died my hopes and dreams.

My name stands for 'Dream', or so I've been told.

There is a bitter irony in it, now, looking back at the rubble of what was once home.

I am the dream of the Sundered Enclave; a fragment of a hope.


There was once the dawn of tomorrow,
There was once the unwritten page...
There was hope we glimpsed once and held.

I am Aisling; my dreams have died, but ...
... the dreams of others may yet see another dawn.
If only I can be better.

It was a typical autumn day at The Lawn when tragedy struck.
One moment, chickens were pecking at the carefully crafted feed mix their tender Gardenia had strewn about.
The next, an innocent hen was shot dead by a stray ice bullet from an enraged Drakanite.

Following the grim opener, and a refusal to apologize to the mercilessly slaughtered bird, many-a-battles took place.
The proprietor tried to deescalate, to no avail. 

People, animals, plants, the earth, the buildings..
All were indiscriminately attacked, battered.

Following Winterfrost's departure, the gardener had restored the land she so loved to its former state.
