Attendees: Sworn Knights of House Pelleaux, Servants of Claude, Friends.

Synopsis: Claude has tracked down the location of a priceless artifact of the age of bastards. A coin of minted in 694 AC bearing the likeness of Eros Petrakis. It's location is deep within the underworld of Osrona. In the hands of a man simply known as the Mint.


Tone: Underworld, eccentric, shady dealings.

Risk: CoI- 170ish RPL average.

Specific Requests: The Coin, I guess stuff the party wants? I'm after that coin for my collection on god.

  Rework Beam Animation Lock

As of now, when you fire something like cosmic/energy/time/water beam, you're locked until it ends. 

If you miss, not only is it supremely punishing that you missed your high damage skill, you're locked in place until it finishes, unable to do anything else while you are forced to watch your hubris. Because of their length, this is usually enough time for someone to close the gap on you and chunk most of your health. 

The wiggly chains of metal allow you to move after use if you don't hit them, so I'd like to suggest that the older beams are updated to allow you to do the same, especially with the rise of melee and close quarters combat.

Keep in mind that item rewards should be hard won, and if they're not minor, limited to a few per event. 

If you have an event in mind you'd like to run, post a plan, or ask questions any questions you might have in the Discord. Once your event plan is approved, you'll be given DM on the day of the event. Just ticket with your DM key and event name.

Setting up an Item
1.) Teleport NPC -> -War Map (or any NPC beginning with -, this'll take you to the event zone)
DO NOT SPAWN ITEMS IN THE OVERWORLD.  ALWAYS USE EVENT ZONES.

2.) Spawn Object -> Blank

3.) Edit -> Grade (the grade its set to), Unique (the unique tag)
See this Guide on Event Materials for further information (such as the creation of a Special Resource)

Setting up an EC
1.) Toggle EC via Edit is your friend
2.) +250 vit per participant; high agility for low cooldowns, and high power (600+) is often a sweet spot
3.) Reward Spell -> flash, these are EC spells that zone
4.) Experiment with different spells in advance

Standard Event Injury Table
IF UNHARMED: /roll - 1 is a 24 day temp, 2-4 is 12 day temp
IF TEMP INJURED:
1 is a -10vit perm, 3 or less is a -5 vit perm, 4-6 is a 24 day temp
IF 2+ KNOCKDOWNS, no temp:
1 is -10vit perm
3 or less is a -5 vit perm
IF 3+ KNOCKDOWNS, no temp:
2 or less is a -10vit perm
4 or less is a -5vit perm
IF  PERM INJURED:
3 or less is an upgraded perm (to -10 or -20 f.ex)
IF PERM INJURED, SECOND KD:
1 is -40vit perm (critically injured)
2-3 is an upgraded perm (to -10, -20, or -40)
IF CRITICALLY INJURED:
1 = death

Other Tips
- If new to DMing, be sure to request permissions some time before the event to experiment, set up enemies and items in advance, to get comfortable with the commands. You can access the DM panel with F1.
- Edit > EC will toggle on a character's Event Character status. This grants GCDE, immunity to debuffs, and infinite mana. This is a must while fighting groups.
- Spawn Item > Blank grants a blank stated item you can edit the values of, including the sprite. Make sure to enable its 'unique' tag, and put the title of the event if you're unsure what to write.
- Teleport Mob. Hit - to scroll down the list and you'll be taken to a number of event maps. Explore a little in advance and decide which maps you'll use.

Rules / Guidelines
All DM commands are logged and regularly checked. Please follow these rules to avoid suspicion and investigation! 

- Do not spawn any items that aren't the event loot's or for appearance sake. You have full control over enemy strength via direct edits to their stats.
- Do not give ECs an excess of levels. Just use 'Spend RPP' and enter a negative value so they have points to buy spells, or use the 'Reward Spell' command.
- Do not give ECs excessive abilities/power ICly (such as a dozen signatures). Occasionally justify the challenge of the battle with supporting minions in narrates. Make the narrative count and the PCs matter!

You're rewarded EXP on your character for the planning, time, and energy running an event requires. Make a ticket while stating your DM key (asking for removal) and what character you'd like the EXP on.

When your event is approved, it will be classed as one of the following. Mini-events are typically short (a few hours) whereas standard events are more elaborate.

Mini-event: 2000 EXP & 10 tokens
Standard: 5000 EXP & 25 tokens & 1 Month Sub (can be gifted)

  Occult/Illusion/Gravity

Occult + Illusion + Gravity is very abusive in what it does.

Gravity has instant homing stun that slows you and restricts and kind of dashing. (Spacebar/Dash attack) And it has severall cc and stuns.

Illusion has confusion, which would aid the player in now keeping their victim in a single spot while they are slowed and now fumbling around. 
Illusion also has darkness now to add insult to injury. 

At this point its already cancerous to fight. Now let me add more.

You can land dark orbs for free this way and use all those instant homings that those trees have. IT makes the fight entirely one sided and should be looked at. Not to mention clone is hitting you the entire time.

...

Why? Can this please be looked at for the sake of other players?

Attendees: Iskan Furthis and anyone else that wants to join this ghost of a man. (Limited to 4 people so the DM isn't overtaxed! Thank you!)

Synopsis: Old stories tell of a distant island with an ancient lighthouse. Within it was an eccentric time mage that was obsessed with the occultic, and did horrible experiments involving both magicks over many years in a secret underground area. No one knows what happened to the magi, but rumor has it that there is knowledge and left-over materials to be found.

Despite reports of undead and spirit activity on the island, Iskan's lust and obsession for knowledge on metaphysical magic and the occult has drawn him to this place. Those with him probably wouldn't condone of this trip, but if they hadn't come along, he would've gone by himself in the end. (Moonfall residents are free and even encouraged to join if they want.)

Tone: Mysterious, Occultic, Sciencey(!), Haunted

Risk: High CoI

Specific Requests: 
Chance for devving towards a time hidden and possibly occult magic. Materials to make special armor for someone that fights with time magic and armed skills. If able, something a little extra for the others that attend would be nice.

Additional Notes: Anyone can go as this request is both a rumor and posted request in various areas. The unique armor I'm apping for with the mats is a commissioned spritesheet so if you want to DM and are curious, I can show you what it looks like. :>

Hopefully this helps moonfall people spread their wings a bit more and gives them a chance to get some extra stuff to help them out if they come along!
