• The Great Work progresses under the guidance of Cedric Veythar. Willing alchemists, or perhaps those just curious in the art of Sorcery and his labors, are encouraged to seek him out.
  

• The ex-bandit Yvelt Thakland has been apprehended within the Sanctuary, charged with crimes of deceit and endangerment of fellow citizens. Judgement has followed, but the city is not one to publicly host trials and their outcomes. Amends have been made with the people of Caethir, though Arcadia is still pending potential reparations.
  

• Commander Aurora Amarti has been spear-heading a project, though there is little public discussion surrounding its execution. The hands of many Arcanists seem to be involved, however, across much of the continent.
  

• The Sage of Liberation recently performed a rite within the Shadowlands, just west of the Sanctuary’s borders and in the depths of the swamps. Its true purpose is a mystery, but the results are not to be denied - stepping from a pyre of Astral Flame, the Sage walks again unblemished by any mark or scar of flesh.
  

• Advancements have been made within the Wolfshead Order, granting those that hold it greater boons. It’s purported that this Seal allows its Sorcerers an even greater tie to the more tumultuous parts of the Astral Sea, and bonds more closely to those that have tasted Dark Magic prior. Those of Covens and Cults wishing for a greater life are, as ever, encouraged to leave behind the old and embrace the new....
  

• The Wolfshead Library opens, a broad collection covering a wide variety of topics. Writings on philosophy, magic, and medicine all collected from across Meranthe. Any with worthy writings are encouraged to donate, or even peruse the stacks.
  

• Construction continues within the Sanctuary, including a new tower to the north bordering the southern jungle lands, as well as one pending construction to the city’s western borders.
  

• Tensions have been at an all time high between Sanctuary and the lands to the west, namely those of Arcadia and Atheleon. Swirling whispers of Crusades, of demands, surround a particular Athelite relic - The Silver Chalice. Talks were underway and seemingly a resolution was found pending talks with the Pontifice. Now, with the announcement of calls for Cassius Bargiel’s arrest and capitulation to Delphina? No more. The Sanctuary makes its stance clear: The Chalice will no longer be given over to Atheleon.
     
  

• While there are no stirrings beyond the borders of the wood yet, roving hunting bands of the Sanctuary now patrol the Shadowlands and accost any deemed ‘hostile’ to the nation - but especially those of Atheleon, or those that name themselves its allies.

  Expansion efforts for kingdom status amongst Meranthe's long-standing nations find completion succeeding six decades of progression. It has become well-known that with Lucion's abdication of his position, the former Queen-Consort Calanthe Fair-Caewynn now stands as the sole, ruling Monarch within Caethir as its Queen.


  Resumption of promotions within the Azure Order swears in Squires Elizabeth J. Aodh, Isshin, and Tenmu Ryuma, and Bark as ordained Knights; Squires Ardyn Irithyl, Vylarr C. Fair, Sivir S. Lopus, and Sideral are bound under similar oathing to assume comparable stations later in their tenure.

• Patrols surrounding the expanded boundaries have been reinstated, considering how much the realm grew in size, happening at a more consistent rate than before.
  
• A recruitment drive for individuals eager to enlist with the militia is being held, and individuals are invited to speak to Ser Lord Caldera Grymlok or any available Knights for more information.
  
• With Ser Leone P. Folhammar's capturing and rumored misdeeds, considerations towards re-instating Tsuroma Yoshiru as Knight-Captain finally resurface following numerous years of her extended leave.
  
• There are three positions for Royal Knights open and available for deliberation as internal promotions; those who don this title are well-known for their specially forged helms and coat-of-arms shields.
  

 Perpetrators who offend against Caethir and its Crown suffer the consequences of their actions.

• Luna Eclipse, noble daughter of Lord Noctua's House, was tried for sedition and violence against her fellow Order members, civilians, and the Crown; these events followed after repeated attempts towards mental rehabilitation. An execution by blade before the masses was her fate to exemplify what arises from treasonous behaviors.
  
• During another belated knighting, where divination had been mandated upon these ceremonies to avoid malicious subterfuge, Bark was discovered to bolster significantly profane essences as an admitted result of signing away their name in the Book of Shadows. They stood before Caethir for their trial, in which they expressed the circumstances of their choices; the public unanimously voted towards sparing their life, and they eventually became unshackled using Lady Basil Mooney's talents.
  
• Vayn I. Eclipse came under Order custody after his public outburst amidst Luna's execution, openly defaming the Queen over a decision slated by King Lucion. Once spending a few years behind bars and paying hefty fines, he was released from imprisonment on good behavior.
  
• The Knight-Commander's daughter, Merce, was discovered to be a Riftmancer despite acknowledging Caethiri laws against them; she spoke her side before trial, where several pleaded for mercy. Her fate had been determined in a less widespread fashion, though the Crown assures that solutions were instituted for this criminal activity.
  

 As vacancies were left unattended inside the Caethiri Court, spots became filled in light of growing boundaries.

• Nicolas Kess currently stands as the Steward as a side-effect of the kingdom's anticipated growth, which encapsulates Kess Archives; Basil Mooney has accepted the position of Court Sorceress. The Diplomatic position lingers accessible to alleviate international communication duties from the Crown.
  
• Head-Tinkerer Lupin Óir-Gadaí continues scouring the surrounding areas to excavate for projects presently underway. He continues to search for other Goblins with a similar proclivity towards mining and burrowing underground to help.
  
• In tandem with these schematics, Court Sorceress Mooney has made rapid headway with assigned work, while cleansing Glimmer Lake and handling other tasks designated to her; this was accomplished through her family's arrival in Caethir to settle Spriggankind officially within its barricades. Anybody interested in assisting with these endeavors is suggested to speak to her.
  

  Developments towards broadening Caethir's reach no longer deliver auspicious unrest, though much growth continues inside walls.

• Aspiring homeowners and business-minded individuals are summoned to set roots inside the kingdom, with all inquiries broached and considered through higher leadership.
  
• The garden germinated before the castle-keep enjoys sanctification at last underneath multiple religions and sects, boding revival amongst the traitorous ruins of a long-deceased house.
  
• Building blocks composing a southernmost structure rise above the ramparts, mentioned to be the construction of a new educational facility.
  
• The church erected above Caethir's castle-keep, founded and sponsored through the Catmart proprietor, unlocks its doors for an upcoming sermon. Likewise, it can be said for the Bluestone Cafe, run by Francesca Caldwell, for those searching for good meals and a refreshing atmosphere.
  
• A dendelving group dedicated to running through both creature dens and dungeons persists thanks to the endeavors of Lord Noctua Eclipse; those who feel uncertain about their talents are implored to speak to him.
  
• The Coming-Of-Age gala celebrating Prince Vylarr and Princess Fleurosa's birthdays not only marks their maturity throughout the seasons, but also their duties to be eventually accepted throughout the Fair-Caewynn reign.

Atheleon's army returned with nearly half of their forces absent from the recent battle at Sanctuary. The first attempt at the Crusade had been deflected by Sanctuary's forces, leaving Atheleon's forces bloodied. Multiple notable members of the Bastion had been taken.
 
Galahad Anwar, the Hand of the Oracle has fallen.
 
A declaration was made on the night of his death.

Preparations were being made by the Athelite Army to continue the War Machine with it's direct focus place squarely upon the corrupted soil where Sanctuary had taken root.
 
In the following months of the war the Bastion redoubled it's efforts of training, eruptions of mana cascaded about Atheleon's training fields.
 
A recouping of the majority of Atheleon's army came at the apprehension of an enemy of Atheleon.
 
Earning the return of multiple of Atheleon's military targets for an exchange granted by The Oracle.
 
A restructuring of the roles in Atheleon is to follow along with news about developments made within the land itself.
 

• In the light of Galahad Anwar's death. Lynette Anwar will be returning from her short stint as Mavethkar's Lady Protector to take up the role of the Oracle's Hand. Raising to the helm of the Silver Ram, in respect of Galahad she retires his title. In it's place she ascends as the Scarlet Crusader. Orders will be put into place soon to decide who is to take up Mavethkar in her place.
  
  
• Upon Percival Anwar's ascension to the role of Oracle, a reformation of the Church's internal structure was made. Pontifice Lucille's position has been ascended to by Priestess Autumn Ainsworth. Pontifice Ainsworth has started focus on developing the Reliquary, a branch of the church that is focused upon Relic Acquisition and Lorekeeping. 
  
  
• The Internal Structure of the church has been adjusted such that the Pontifice has a role directly beneath her now. The Cardinal of the Twilight Cathedral is taken up by Cirrus Sulibella. In her new position of power she is to take up the previous Pontifice's Preservation Project requested volunteers to document. A recruiting drive has been started by the church to draw in members to fill up the ranks of the Reliquary. Contracts supplied to the Bastion will be afforded to those of the Reliquary as well.
  
  

• The Title of Lord Commander falls onto Kilian Velgrist's hands by way of vote by the Athelite population. He has served the Bastion of Atheleon loyally for years and has shown great bravery in the face of imposing foes. Showing great care in raising both the sitting Hand and Astra Captain through their time as squires, as well as for the rest of military personnel.
  
  
• Astra Captain Kilian Velgrist leaves his role vacant in his Ascension to Lord Commander of Atheleon's Bastion. In his place Yvain Anwar ascends as the Astra Captain, for his bravery in the conflict with Sanctuary, he has shown himself to be one of Atheleon's most capable. His lightning carves a path through enemies with a swiftness fitting of the position.
  
  

• Priestess Camilia Sulibella has taken up the role of the Oracle's Secretary, meetings may be scheduled through her, political matters that are not immediately urgent should be directed towards her. Communications when they are not able to be relayed to the Oracle should be found in her office through letter or by word of mouth.
  

• Via contracted work, Jaherr Valkynia has been providing implants and standardized armaments to the newly enstated Bastion and Reliquary, such is paid by the Oracle and of the State itself. The crest of the Wyvern House adorns the weaponry and armor of the Aphrosian Military, with automated drones and devices running the forges into the night in the lands near Atheleon.
  
  

• Rumor has it that the once-Chronicler. has made progress on an old portal project. There is a growing demand for sound mages and wayfinders, with the elders offering classes during the construction.
  
  

• The Bastion is also looking to recruit more members into it's ranks as Knights and Squires.

"Holy or damned. That is the only question Meranthe has ever asked its people. Pick a side, kneel to a name, and spend your life fighting the other half of the world over whose answer is correct. Speira asks something else entirely. What if neither? What if you stood up, looked the heavens in the eye, and said no? A nation free from gods, free from the question itself.

There is no good magic. There is no bad magic. There is only magic, and the hands that wield it. Speira does not judge a school by the altar it was born under or the name the fearful gave it. Instead, it is the intent and the outcome we judge. A healing spell used to keep a tyrant alive is not holy. A shadow spell used to shield the innocent is not evil. The how has always been justification for war, when it is the why that should be considered.

Therefore, Speira will not outlaw any school of magic within its borders. The word 'fel' nor the word 'sanctified' exist within our borders. These are labels invented by the gods and their followers to divide humanity and turn us against each other. Every time mankind has reached beyond what the gods deemed acceptable, it was met with fire and condemnation. They felt threatened, fearful that one day they would be overthrown. Gods fear not our destruction...

▹ Instead, Speira turns its eyes to Arcanum. Tents have already been spotted on its shores and the sound of construction carries across the water. A claim is made.

▹ Trade is the heartbeat of Speira. Merchants will be invited to establish themselves on Arcanum. Teachers are invited to share their craft. Students are invited to seek them out. Coin, knowledge, skill, all currency spends here.

▹ Among the first structures taking shape on Arcanum seems to be a bank. A place where any citizen of Meranthe, regardless of faction, may deposit their coin, invest, and watch their wealth grow through interest (more on that mechanic soon...).

Return of the Daimyo: As he advances to the position of Shogun of the Ruby Empire, a new Daimyo could be named in the coming years. The new generation of Lingxue makes their growth as its people, to the benefit of the nation itself, many taking on new roles within the lands. Towers arise all over the snowy north, and prosperity is seen over thanks to the efforts of Vionelle Crest and other members. An antagonizing faction rises in opposition- seeking to claim what is not theirs- only to be beaten back swiftly with all captured individuals returned safely. 

Court meetings are announced to be held in the palace Throne room (4/10/26 at 6pm EST), and then yearly at the same time afterwards when possible for the nation to discuss ongoing matters.

 In the absence of Queen Calanthe F. Caewynn, the council has ruled that the crown shall be passed to the Crown Princess. Succeeding Queen Calanthe is her eldest daughter, Queen Fleurosa C. Fair and King-Consort Ardyn Irithyl.

 The Azure Order continues to see promotions as the new era of warriors ascend the ranks. Rising to the rank of Knight-Commander is Lady Elizabeth Aodh, and replacing her as Knight-Captain is Bark.  The previously emptied Royal Knight positions are now occupied by Valentine Cryptborne, Valerius Cryptborne, and Concordia Aemoira.

• Any interest in joining the Azure Order may be directed to the Knight-Commander, one of the Knight-Captains, or veteran knights.
  
• Training drills will be held in the coming months by the Cryptbornes. Those who intend to march in the coming war are encouraged to attend.
  
• Those in need of equipment are encouraged to reach out to Queen Fleurosa, Lord Noctua I. M. Eclipse, or Zharrisa.
  

 The Spiral Path will be open to knights in the coming years. Those who wish to join the path and be bound with a magical Snail beast may speak to Odessa F. Caewynn or Valentine Cryptborne.

 As the throne passes, treaties between nations have been reestablished. On the grounds of commerce and protection, Caethir has signed treaties that ally itself with Arcadia, Atheleon, and Crownforge. As the new crown ascends, they are open to communication regarding continued and new alliances. Letters should be sent to Steward Nicolas Kess.

 While there are many joys that Caethir has experienced in the changing of seasons, it has also faced its hardships. 

• The Kingdom of Caethir mourns the loss of Francesca Caldwell Grymlock, beloved friend, comrade, and wife. She was taken far too soon by cultists, but will be avenged.
  
• Caethir prepares to stand against Speira as they threaten the shores of the Glimmering Lake. The Order can be seen preparing for the impending assault.
  

 The Kingdom of Caethir continues to grow within the walls. New faces populate the square and move to become full-time citizens.

• Those interested in constructing a household within the city walls are asked to speak to Nicolas Kess, Odessa F. Caewynn or Noctua I. M. Eclipse.
  
• Those interested in setting up shop within the walls are asked to speak to Nicolas Kess.
  
• Those interested in conducting lessons at the new education facility are asked to reach out to any member of the council.
  

 The infrastructure of Caethir begins to shift beneath the new Queen and King-Consort. A council is to form beneath the crown to act as the voice of the people. The members of the council will be decided before the year comes to an end.
